In October 2021, Amsterdam sneaker boutique Patta and Nike joined forces to create the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch” – a performance running shoe with a unique twist.
Patta’s branding is present on the tongue and inner lining, and a small Swoosh is embroidered on the mudguard. The silver mesh upper is accented with tonal felt overlays, while the orange Swooshes and embroidered “Nike Air” on the heel add a pop of color. A visible Max Air unit in the cream midsole ensures comfort with every step.
